KAWAII
Most of the Japanese girls say "KAWAII" a hundred times in a day.
What does "KAWAII" mean?
It means "CUTE".
We use this word freely. For example, when we go shopping and find a beautiful skirt, when we see a baby, when we see an old man eating cakes, for anime characters, or even when we don't think it's cute, we say "KAWAII".
A: I bought a new skirt!
B: (Oh my gosh, what a strange skirt)
Wow! KAWAII!!!!
Like that ( In this case, our eyes are not smiling).
Anyway, let's analyze "KAWAII" culture!
As I said, anime characters are also KAWAII.
This is HELLO KITTY, it's very famous in the world.
And this is a real HELLO KITTY. (I accessorized my pet)
The most famous person of KAWAII culture is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
She is a fashion model and a singer.
Her CD is selling like hot cakes!
Many young girls admire her.
Is she really cute? It's up to you.
Some Japanese like wearing the same clothes as friends.
It's called "Twins coordination".
I am one of them.
Actually it's "Sextuplets coordination" haha
When we wear the same clothes, we feel the special friend's bond and first of all, the appearance is pretty!
By the way, I took this picture in front of Hogwarts in Harry Potter.
But we were neither wizards nor witches, we were just Santa Clauses :)
Where does the next KAWAII appear?
Here, it's in the lunch box.
Amazing. So sweet. Super awesome.
We make even the lunch quite cute!
I think there is an abundance of effort behind "KAWAII" .
To make "KAWAII" lunch, we need a lot of time, to be beautiful and fashionable, we need a lot of money.
In conclusion, "KAWAII" culture exists by sheer dint of effort.
Finaly, the most "KAWAII" thing for me is...
ME.
Just kidding. Don't hate me please.
Actually, it's my lovely cats :)♡
This is the life!
What do you think the most "KAWAII" thing for you?
